Growing up in Salinas, CA, an agricultural city near the heart of Silicon Valley, shaped my interests. The environment piqued my passions for drawing, nature, and technology. 

California State University, Monterey Bay’s Computer Science B.S. program provided a strong technical foundation. However, technology goes beyond functionality; the human factor is key as well. With this in mind, I went on to obtain an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of California, Santa Cruz.  My journey has led me here as a web developer for the Hrsimple team.

I love designing technology and solving the logical and design challenges that come with it! Technology should aid in routine to complex tasks, but integrate seamlessly into our lives or add more to it – it should be simple.
