Director of Marketing & Events

My story starts in the picturesque town of Mystic, Connecticut, where I spent my formative years. In 2006, with just two suitcases and a sense of adventure, I made the bold decision to relocate to Chicago, a city I had only visited once before. Fast forward to today, I proudly call Chicago my home, where I’m raising my spirited 5-year-old daughter. We share a deep love for this city and the energy it embodies.

What I Do

Having started my career at hr|simple as the Director of Marketing and Affinity Services in 2009, I then ventured into the world of project management as a Senior Producer for a digital design studio. Eight years of honing my skills in this dynamic industry allowed me to bring a fresh perspective back to hr|simple in January of 2020 as the Director of Marketing and Events. I take pride in cultivating relationships, and over the years, I’ve fostered connections with hundreds of Chambers and Chamber members. Among my recent accomplishments, the one that stands out the most is the successful launch of hr|webinars MAX, our employment law webinar subscription product. It’s a testament to my passion for innovation and my dedication to providing trustworthy resources to our audience.

Life Beyond Work

When I’m not immersed in the world of marketing and events, you’ll find me embarking on new adventures with my daughter – traveling, swimming, and creating art together are our shared passions. Before embracing motherhood, I found another calling in fostering dogs. Over the years, I opened my heart and home to 48 dogs, each one finding a loving forever family. Even today, my commitment to these furry companions continues as I remain on the Board of a dog rescue. There, I help organize adoption events and fundraise, ensuring that more four-legged friends find their way to warm and caring homes.
